Emanuela Rondi is assistant professor of management at the Department of Management of the University of Bergamo, Italy and research fellow at the Centre for Family Business Management of the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, also in Italy.
Rondi got her doctoral degree from Lancaster University in the United Kingdom and is chairwoman of research development at the International Family Enterprise Research Academy (IFERA). Her research lies at the intersection of the family business and social networks fields, and she has been published in leading academic peer-reviewed journals as well as in business press.
Attention to strategies for the management and continuity of the assets of entrepreneurial families in Italy has grown considerably in recent years, as has the role and scope of family offices.
